HELPING CREATORS PROTECT THEIR COPYRIGHT

In2me’s mission is to empower Creators to own their potential. We are committed to providing Creators with a safe environment where they can share and monetize the content they create.

Stealing content is unlawful. In addition to our other safety and content moderation measures, In2me has a dedicated team working to help Creators protect their content.

Who owns the content on the In2me platform?

Each Creator owns the content they choose to post on In2me. By posting content, Creators grant In2me a legal right to display that content to their fans on the platform.

Does In2me offer Creators any tools to help protect their content?

Yes. In2me provides a free digital watermarking service to all Creators. A watermark is light digital text placed on top of a Creator’s content to make it harder to copy or reuse without permission.

Creators can customize their watermark in their Privacy and Safety settings. If you need help, you can contact our support team using this link.

I’m a Creator and my content has been posted on another website without my permission. Can In2me help?

Yes. In2me supports Creators in enforcing their copyright. You can report copyright issues to In2me by clicking here and selecting “Reporting Stolen Content”. We will promptly investigate.

We have a dedicated team that issues formal DMCA takedown notices on behalf of Creators, free of charge. Even if you live outside the USA, your content is protected under international copyright laws.

We notify hosting providers, domain registrars, and major search engines when content stolen from Creators appears elsewhere online.

I reported stolen content to In2me, but it hasn’t been taken down from the other site. Why?

In2me does its best to get stolen content removed, but some websites do not respect copyright laws or comply with takedown requests. We encourage Creators to also contact those websites directly and, if necessary, pursue formal legal action independently.

What else does In2me do to help Creators protect their content?

In2me proactively scans the internet to identify sites hosting large amounts of stolen Creator content. Where appropriate, we contact those platforms and request takedown. Some comply, while others may ignore the request.

I am a US-based Creator. Are there other legal options besides a DMCA notice or lawsuit?

Yes. Since June 16, 2022, U.S. Creators seeking less than $30,000 in compensation can file a claim with the Copyright Claims Board under the CASE Act. Filing costs $100 and does not require hiring a lawyer or appearing in court. This can be done in addition to In2me’s support.

I am a UK-based Creator. Are there other legal options besides a DMCA notice or lawsuit?

Yes. UK Creators seeking under £10,000 in compensation can file with the Intellectual Property and Enterprise Small Claims Court, with costs equivalent to standard small claims proceedings.

I am an EU-based Creator. Are there other legal options besides a DMCA notice or lawsuit?

Yes. The EU Small Claims Procedure allows Creators in any member country to file cross-border copyright claims through their local courts.

In addition, under the Digital Services Act, EU websites will soon be legally required to remove infringing content if a Creator reports it.

I’m a Creator and someone posted my content on In2me without my permission. Can In2me help?

Yes. All posted content is reviewed under In2me’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. Verified Creators must tag themselves in content, and a release form must be submitted for any person featured who is not a verified Creator.

To report stolen content, go to https://in2me.io/contacts and select “Reporting Stolen Content.” Include your name, contact details, a description of your complaint, and the content URL.

If you appear in content posted without your permission, select “Law Enforcement/Legal Matters” on the same page. We review all such cases under our Complaints Policy. If non-consensual content is confirmed, it will be removed, and action will be taken against the user who posted it. Disputes that can’t be resolved informally may be submitted to neutral arbitration at our expense.

What should I do if I believe content has been wrongly removed?

If you are a Creator and believe your content was wrongly removed for copyright infringement, please follow our DMCA Counter-Notification Procedures.

I am a Fan and I’ve paid to access a Creator’s content. Do I own that content?

No. Fans pay to view content, but all content remains the property of the Creator. Pay-per-view content is available only during the specified access window.

I am a Fan and have paid to access content. Am I allowed to download it?

No. Downloading or copying content is a violation of In2me’s Terms of Service. In2me does not permit content downloads.
